PINKS
An awarded short film written, directed, and edited by Emilie Biason about two girls who, consumed by the pressures of sexting culture, begin to obsess over the idea of labiaplasty, leading down a painful and dangerous path. With delicate and poetic photography, PINKS delves into the "beauty standards" surrounding female genitals, highlighting the dangers of doctors selling surgical procedures (FGCS) to young girls through social media. An Award Winner at the International Activism Film Festival, a semifinalist at Best Short Fest, and an official LA Independent Women Film Awards nominee.
